Scent: Addictive winter citrus that is both cozy and cold. It's unique, fresh, very spa-like. You'd expect to find this scent in a 5 star hotel bathroom or as you walk into a designer clothing store on Rodeo Drive.
I had never heard of shizo when I got this fragrance (it's in the fragrance name). It is an herb often used in Japanese cooking. It has a mysterious, bright taste that reminds people of mint, basil, tarragon, cilantro, cinnamon, anise or the smell of a mountain meadow after a rainstorm. I believe that description is very fitting for how it smells as well. Tranquil and uplifting at the same time.

A note about handmade soap: Each bar is handmade, hand cut, and no two are exactly alike. Your bar will last longer if kept dry between uses. Place your bar on a well-draining soap dish out of the spray of water for best performance. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Soaps are for external use only and are not edible. You may experience colored lather with dark or brightly colored bars. I have not experienced any staining nor have my testers, but your mileage may vary ;-)
